Over 645 Million Barrels of Oil Produced from the 'East Azeri' Platform
Since 2006, the 'East Azeri' platform has produced more than 645 million barrels (87 million tons) of oil, significantly contributing to the total 4.7 billion barrels produced from the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli field.
The 'East Azeri' platform has produced over 645 million barrels (87 million tons) of oil since 2006, making a significant contribution to the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli field's total production of 4.7 billion barrels. The platform combines production, drilling, and living facilities, currently achieving an average daily output of approximately 46,000 barrels and employing more than 170 specialists. Innovative technologies are being applied to increase the field's oil recovery. Recently, in well D18Z, more than 2,000 meters of open hole section were drilled to maximize reservoir contact.
