Qatar Officially Denies Claims of Detaining Three Iranian Pilots

Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has categorically denied reports claiming that it is detaining three Iranian Su-24 pilots. The ministry's official spokesperson, Majid Al-Ansari, emphasized that such reports run counter to ongoing efforts to ease diplomatic tensions in the region. In March, during incidents involving Iranian aircraft violating Qatar's airspace, Qatar conducted search and rescue operations and recovered the body of one pilot, which it attempted to return to Iran. However, Tehran did not respond to this offer.
