President Ilham Aliyev Inspects Work at Solar Power Plants in Nakhchivan

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva visited the 'Shams 1' and 'Western Horizon' Solar Power Plants being built in Nakhchivan city to familiarize themselves with the ongoing work. These projects aim to enhance Azerbaijan's energy independence within the renewable energy sector and make a significant contribution to environmental protection. Once operational, these plants will supply electricity to thousands of households and help reduce carbon dioxide emissions.
