Head of DIM Announces Admission Status by Specialty Groups

Maleyka Abbaszade, head of the State Examination Center, announced the current status of the admission process and the distribution of planned places according to specialty groups. She stated that 75 percent of the state-funded places are in the first specialty group, while the competition is more intense in the third specialty group. She also noted that the passing scores for medical specialties are expected to increase and that the statistics for the fifth specialty group are not yet complete.
