38% Decrease Recorded in Stone-Throwing Incidents at ADY Trains
From January to September 2023, the number of stone-throwing incidents targeting passenger and freight trains of Azerbaijan Railways decreased by 38%. Such acts not only damage trains but also threaten the safety of passengers and train crews.
Between January and September 2023, Azerbaijan Railways saw a 38% reduction in incidents involving stones being thrown at passenger and freight trains. These actions cause damage to the trains, endanger the safety of passengers and train personnel, and lead to delays in train operations. The Railway Transport Police Department is investigating these incidents, and parents are being urged to educate their children about the dangers of such behavior.
