The Mikrorayon Series Breaks Viewing Records
The series 'Mikrorayon,' depicting events in a Soviet-era neighborhood, has attracted great interest and broken viewing records.

One of the most-watched series recently, 'Mikrorayon,' has achieved great success. The project's producer, Sevinc Aliyeva, has once again delivered impressive results. Her previous experience and success with the series 'Citizen A' have also been reflected in the 'Mikrorayon' project. Additionally, under Sevinc Aliyeva's leadership, filming continues for a new series titled 'Shelter.' The story takes place in a Soviet-era, underdeveloped neighborhood. It delicately portrays the friendships among a group of teenagers, the challenges they face within their families, and their inner worlds. These young people gather not only for games and entertainment but also confront the first serious trials of life. The main characters of the series are Adil, Farid, Sabir, Idris, and Dashgin. Each is presented as a teenager struggling with unique traumas, fears, and desires. On the other hand, the characters Azik and Kazim are well-known figures in the neighborhood's criminal world and attempt to influence the teenagers. This series offers Azerbaijani viewers both nostalgia and contemporary themes. 'Mikrorayon' sheds light on social problems while realistically reflecting the complex situations in the lives of young people.
